Who are the most influential young African-Americans?

The Root puts forward its list. What struck me most powerfully upon reading this was the relatively few business and political leaders here. But I am always interested in learning more about rising figures I've known nothing or relatively little about before encountering them here.

These talented individuals lead by example, have a passion for excellence and have the ability to inspire. The history of America is built on the shoulders of African Americans as well and they have persevered and fought for change and bright future. I am proud to be a citizen of the United States of America and to have an opportunity to read the highlight of the people who have answered the call of leadership. They all are the biggest examples for me and I struggling to become a successful person so my relatives can be proud of me! I am just an ordinary freelance writer for one of the essay services but I do dream to become a famous writer who will highlight the most important things in life.
